Description
WW1 Victory medal awrded to 2/1405 Frederick Forsythe . Forsythe employed by the CHCH tramways was 3x wounded . Serving at Gallipoli he was treated for Dysentary at ANZAC 20/10/15 . On 11/6/17 he recieved a GSW chest , recovered & again on 27/9/17 recieved another GSW chest from which he succombed & DOW. 30/9/17 . Medal naming impression has been fairly well erased to rim , fortunately his serial number can be just made out.
